Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for an ETA, you must:- be outside Australia
- hold an ETA eligible passport.
ETA eligible passports – apply online
If you hold a citizen passport issued by one of the countries or regions listed below, you can apply for an ETA online while outside Australia.- Brunei
- Canada
- Hong Kong (SAR)
- Japan
- Malaysia
- Singapore
- South Korea
- United States of America.
